WHO WE ARE

Galveston Bay Foundation is 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the natural resources of Galveston Bay.

OUR EVENT MISSION

• To create a quality-family recreational activity that will expose the participants and viewing public to the natural beauty in and around the Galveston Bay.
• The "Bike Around the Bay" event will encourage individuals to identify and appreciate the future values of preserving, protecting and enhancing the natural resources of Galveston Bay by actual close up experiences with the terrain while enjoying the sporting challenges of a non-competitive bike ride.
• Mobilize financial and human resources to continue the goals and objectives of the Galveston Bay Foundation's programs.

OUR VALUES

• Provide a multitude of conservation and educational projects and programs that serve to draw attention to the natural beauty of Galveston Bay
• Use contributions and donations to fulfill the Mission
• Maintain accountability to ensure the Mission is effectively and efficiently achieved
